Talking more

Nolan is talking more and more these days. This video is from a couple weeks ago. It includes some of his favorite phrases such as "what's that noise" and "what happened to circle". What happened to circle started when Shirley was giving him Cheerios and she made them into the shape of a circle, Nolan promptly destroyed the circle and she asked what happened to the circle. He thought this was hilarious and started saying it frequently. He has now branched out and will destroy pretty much anything and then ask you what happened to it. The circle does remain his favorite shape and he will identify almost every shape as a circle.

Apologies for the background noise on the first video, I am not exactly sure what was on I thought it was Noggin, but it doesn't sound like Noggin.

Note all the blankets and pillows and toys behing Nolan. We are in the midst of an apartment overhaul and hopefully we can teach Nolan to put somethign away when he is done playing with it.

Oakland Zoo

We went to the Oakland Zoo over the weekend. Nolan was really into the frogs, or hoppies/ hop hops as he call them.

Smithwoods

We visited Great Grandma and Grandpa Baldwin at Smithwood over Memorial Day weekend.

Park

Nolan's favorite words are outside and park. Initially he would only request to be outside, now he is more picky and prefers to go to the park. He likes the slides, swings and the sand (although we are working on not throwing sand), but he especially likes being around the other kids.

Playdoh

Nolan has discovered Playdoh. He enjoys cutting the playdoh into tiny pieces with the scissors.
