Baby Legs!

Nolan received baby legs from Dana at his baby shower. Baby legs are essentially long tube socks without feet designed to keep baby's legs nice and warm under lose fitting pants. I was getting Nolan ready for our trip to the zoo and realized that with his seasonal top on the baby legs made Nolan look very elfish. Once he put his jeans on he looked less like an elf!

Nolan is crawling

Sorry it is so dark, the Christmas tree blocks most of the natural light. Nolan is crawling in short little spurts.

Santa!! I know him!!

Nolan seemed excited to go see Santa.
Here he is waiting for Mommy to get everything together

Still waiting...
Santa!
Nolan and Santa checking each other out.
Nolan didn't smile, but he didn't cry either so we consider this first visit to Santa a success!

Happy Thanksgiving

Nolan enjoyed his first Thanksgiving at Great Grandma and Great Gandpa Garcia's house.
Out little turkey!
Daddy is getting tired...but Nolan still wanted to play!
OK that was enough playing, I am tired now too!

Grocery Shopping for Thanksgiving

The family went shopping for some turkey-day related items...
Nolan was worried the store might be too crowded...

But in we went...

Nolan was checking out what the store had on sale...
making sure Mommy doesn't miss anything...
all done, that wasn't so bad!

Nolan, Jeff and Mike Grier

We went down to the Arena for a autograph session with San Jose Shark Mike Grier. Nolan was really good in line and fell asleep about 10 minutes before we got to the front of the line.

Happy Halloween!

Hard to believe that it is already Halloween and tomorrow it will be November.
Nolan just turned 7 months old and is gearing up for his first Halloween, he has two costumes that Mommy got on sale after last Halloween.
He will be going as Squirt since he loses his hands in the massive sleeves of the Roo costume.

Posting again

I apologize that I have not posted in a while, I was enjoying my last month as a stay at home mom, and than adjusting to life as a working mom. I am only working 4 days a week, so I still get to stay home with Nolan one day a week. I am going to try to get back to posting regularly.

Nolan is doing well! At 6 months old he weighs 18 lbs is 26 3/4 inches long and has 2 teeth. He is still a very happy boy, he has adjusted well to his new "day care" schedule. He is with each of the Grandmas once a week and has been with my cousin Lesley the other 2 days, that will be changing in the coming weeks as Shirley (a friend of the family's) will take over.

Now to pictures!

Oakland A's Game

Nolan enjoyed watching the game, almost as much as chewing on his elephant.

Nolan and Daddy

We went to the MLB Fan Fest in San Francisco this weekend.

There was lots to look at...
and lots of critters to take pictures with.
Note: Nolan's hair is not as red as it looks below!
The excitement was a bit much for Nolan.
