One Year

It is strange to think that one year ago today Nolan had just entered our lives and was new and tiny. A year later Nolan is not so tiny but he still feels very new and as he continues to grow and learn we find that every week there is something new he does.

He is a very sweet boy, mellow and funny. We are very blessed to have him in our lives and to watch him become whoever he is going to be.

In one year he has gone from this:

To this:

Can't wait to see what another year brings!

Disneyland Prep

Aunt Bertha gave Nolan his first mouse ears for Easter. Nolan put then on in preparation for next weeks trip to Disneyland.
Daddy tried them out too. Mommy doesn't need to prep, she is an expert!

Spaghetti

I made spaghetti the last night and Nolan had his first taste of spaghetti not in baby food form.

We were surprised that he didn't make too big a mess and he seemed to like it.

Nolan looking very full.

Nolan's 2nd Easter and First Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Morning, Nolan taking his bunnies for a walk.

Audrey, Nolan and the balloons that he found fascinating for about 30 minutes.
Nolan and Great Grandma Garcia
Nolan's first Easter egg hunt
Nolan and Daddy (and the Easter eggs Nolan successfully captured in the hunt)

Happy St. Patricks Day

Nolan spent his last first holiday playing.

He has discovered that Ollie is perfect for bouncing on:

LAUGH:
Whenever Jeff leaves to walk the dog Nolan sits by the door and waits for him to get back.

O

Aunt Kristin

Nolan got to meet Aunt Kristin last weekend. He had fun playing at Grandma Baldwin's with Aunt Kristin on Friday and then we went to Buca de Beppo's for lunch on Sunday. Nolan had fun in the play area with Grandpa Baldwin

Ollie the Octopus

Nolan is now at the stage where he is really enjoying that Ollie the Octopus chair that we bought before he could sit on his own.

For those of you who do not remember when Nolan first met Ollie:

A long time ago in a galaxy far far away...

Dana found this knitting pattern on line, she emailed it to me in hopes I would make one for a friend of hers. I decided to try it out for a hat for Nolan first, which was good, I had to make adjustments for accuracy and sizing. Nolan did not want to wear a hat and kept removing it so these were the best pictures I could get.
