Christmas at Home

Christmas morning started with the three humans and three furry family members opening our gifts before we headed out to each of the grandparents homes to celebrate.
Nolan started with a stocking which was filled to the brim
(Notice he appears to be hoarding his toys. I am pretty sure Indy, the white blob in the foreground was eyeing them)

This ball was probably his favorite stocking stuffer, he slept with it last night.

Onward to presents! Nolan starts to get the feel for tearing wrapping paper

Nolan reveals the learning puppy (or something)

I was annoyed with this toy before he opened it. For the two weeks it was wrapped under the tree it would mysteriously start talking on its own from inside its wrapped cocoon. It would usually choose to do this when I was up late alone watching scary movies or disturbing forensic shows. It still goes off occasionally, but once it was out of it's package I found the volume control.

Nolan loves Fisher Price Amazing Animals. The Ark was a hit and he finds the giraffe to be delightful to chew on.

Christmas Round Two:
Nolan is more interested in chewing on his rubber ball then opening presents.

He is pleased with the Backyardigans see and say

Grandma and Grandpa got him "The Boss" a dragon whose back unzips to reveal that he is filled with those jumping balls. Nolan thinks they are tasty, he enjoys sitting among them and throwing them out of the dragon.

He also decided that the dragon was an excellent place to open other presents

Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Baldwin's

By the time we got to Grandma and Grandpa Baldwins Nolan was a pro at opening presents.
Nolan will walk you through the correct way to open a gift.

Step 1: Receive Gift
Step 2: Remove ribbon

Step 3: Rip paper

Nolan was very grateful for all the wonderful gifts he received.
