MBAQ

On Saturday we took Nolan for his second visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. He really enjoyed the river otter exhibits and the Outer Bay tank. A rare shot of Mommy and Nolan while we were getting ready to go. He doesn't look happy because the camera blocked his view of the TV.

(UN)Happy as a clam

Checking out big blue. I think this may have been the first time he has really seen the ocean.

Getting educated about tide pools.

Loving the Bruce Ariss Pass and all the steps on the way down to the Aquarium

Fort Knox...Well Fort Foam

Nolan has been enjoying making a fort around himself using the pillows on Great Grandma's couch. When we get to her house to pick him up he is in the "fort" and we can see his eyes peeking over. Mommy tried making a fort with him last week but found our pillow selection lacked the sturdiness to create a fort. So we purchased some of those interlocking foam squares with letters on them thinking this might work as a suitable fort, at the very least it should create a good racing surface for his pull back cars. Overall the fort worked well, even when Nolan started punching out the letter testing it's true structural integrity. Here are some pictures of Nolan enjoying his little cubby.
